Nvidia Reaches Its First Billion Dollar Quarter
The role of GPU has been constantly increasing. Moreover, with the release of Windows Vista, GPU has become even more important component of a computer. This translates into increased revenues of the graphics specialist companies. At least this is true for Nvida. The company has announced record results for the third quarter of 2007, with revenues reaching 1.12 billion US dollars. This is a 36% increase compared to the 820.6 million dollars it achieved for the same period last year. Net income has been doing even better with a 121% increase.
